The Variable balans® both encourages your body to move and reacts to every one of its movements. Body and chair, action and reaction, in a cycle of continuous motion that energizes and enlivens your body and mind. The perfect homework chair for youth With the sitting benefits of Variable Balans, children and youths will concentrate longer and better, and thus acquire more knowledge. This is not only a great advantage for them, but will also make parents happy who want the best for their children. Variable Balans is ideal for children and adolescents from age 10 and up. It can be used for concentrated work such as homework or for other playful, creative tasks at a desk or worktable. Good concentration over time The Variable balans® is the perfect instrument for the work at a desk – for youth and adults. Runners and kneepads promote an open and dynamic sitting position that keeps your spine in its natural curvature and improves breathing. Interplay of chair and body The chair gives your body the freedom to find its own equilibrium which keeps your back and abdominal muscles working. While tension in back and shoulders is prevented, this ‘active sitting’ improves circulation and oxygen levels; thus concentration and creativity during your work. The original kneeling chair Today, the Variable Balans is considered the original idea for kneeling chairs. The chair inspired a whole new concept, based on active sitting; movement, open body angles and the spine in its natural position. Since the chair was launched, it has gained a huge international fan base and is currently used by children and youth worldwide. Materials and colours Variable Balans is available in durable, modern furniture fabrics in a wide range of colours from our European textile suppliers. Speak with a dealer to get an overview.
