Year of design 1966

EIn 1966 Gebroeders van der Stroom designed and produced a luxury bergère for furniture factory Pander Den Haag, which was all the rage at the time with project designs for airports and cruise ships. The New York is a stylised version of this classical armchair and is now part of the Dutch Originals. The traditional suspension and adjustable seat by means of an inflatable lumbar support guarantee the ultimate in comfort.
